WOMEN'S HUMAN RIGHTS

Join Amnesty International in honoring women's human rights.  Stop by our table in the SU lobby on Wednesday, March 10 from 11:00-2:30 to sign petitions on behalf of women in many parts of the world, send messages of solidarity and get some goodies (by donation) to help us pay our postage!

GRAD RING DAY

The Bookstore is having a Ring Day!  Come and meet the Josten's Rep to order your ring on Wednesday, March 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Stop by anytime to pick up a a catalog!

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Congratulations to the women's team who finished first in regular season play in their division!  They will compete in the Regionals in Trois-Rivières on Saturday, March 13 at 12:00 noon against Collège Mérici.        Go Cougars!

HEALTH CLINIC - NEW HOURS!

Until March 12 the clinic will be open weekdays from 8:00 - 11:45 a.m. and 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

CARNIVAL IS COMING TO CHAMPLAIN!

Carnival will be held the week of March 15!  Monday:  movie at 7:00 p.m. in C345; Tuesday:  Hypnotist Boris Cherniak at 12:30 p.m. in Student Lounge; Wednesday:  cookies in CRC lobby; Thursday:  karaoke at 12:30 p.m. in Student Lounge.

2009 INCOME TAX CERTIFICATES
Income tax receipts are now available.   You can access them by clicking on “my Lennoxville”, then “myLennoxFile” and selecting “my tax certificates”.  These are to be used by your parents or yourself to prepare the federal and provincial 2009 income tax returns.

YCWBOL PROGRAM
This program is for young canadians looking for a new adventure!  It gives the opportunity to gain work experience related to their field of study, to explore various career posisbilities, to discover new regions of Canada and to better their skills in one of the country's official languages.  All program participants receive competitive salaries.  Go to http://www.youngcanadaworks.gc.ca/ and click on I am looking for a summer job or internship.
THE MILLER THOMSON FOUNDATION NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME
The purpose of this foundation is to encourage and promote the attainment of higher education goals for individuals who have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement, have made a positive contribution to their school through extracurricular activities and have made significant contributions of time and energy to community service programs. Students in their last year of Cegep who will be attending a Canadian University are eligible to apply.  Each year approximately 200 awards of $1000 are presented across Canada.  For more information on this and other scholarships, go to the scholarships page on the website.
