The Board of Governors of Champlain Regional College and its President, Jacob Burns, are pleased to announce the appointment of Philip Cooper as Director of the Lennoxville Constituent College, effective May 27, 2025. He has served as Interim Director of the Constituent College since May 27, 2024.
Reporting to the Director General, Jean-Philippe Caron, Mr. Cooper will oversee the Lennoxville Constituent College. He will also serve as Director of Academic Affairs. In this capacity, he will be responsible for academic affairs, student services, administrative services, and institutional development. In addition, he will represent Champlain College-Lennoxville on various committees and participate in several institutional initiatives.
Mr. Cooper holds a doctorate in psychology and has management experience gained at John Abbott College and the constituent college in Lennoxville. His knowledge of higher education, community and regional dynamics, and his expertise in operational management are key assets that will enable him to confidently lead the development of our institution. “I would like to thank Mr. Cooper for all his work over the past year and congratulate him on his recent appointment.
