Build vocabulary that will be integrated into sentences to allow you to communicate orally in a variety of settings (introductions, telephone conversations, ordering at a restaurant, presenting a project).
Learn basic grammar to help you express yourself correctly, both orally and in writing (verb tenses, sentence structure, articles, and prepositions).
Deepen your understanding of simple English texts and respond to comprehension questions using short sentences.

About the Instructor

Naomi Dana has been a second language teacher for over 20 years. She moved to the beautiful Eastern Townships to study at the Université de Sherbrooke and has since made this region her forever home. Her main occupation is raising her family and caring for her pets, but in her spare time she enjoys reading, hiking, doing puzzles, and sewing. Passionate about languages, she believes they are a powerful tool for connecting people. As a teacher, she strives to create a supportive and understanding environment where students feel safe to take risks, make mistakes, and grow together.
