Who We Are
Be ready for a unique college experience! We share a beautiful campus with Bishop’s University. As a student, you will certainly enjoy the quiet study spaces under the sun but also the exceptional indoor and outdoor facilities that are available to you on campus. You will have access to a new sports and recreation centre, a recently renovated library, an art gallery, an observatory, laboratories, restaurants, and more.
Did you know that Champlain has 1,200 students? Our students truly appreciate that we offer small classes and an intimate learning environment. Professors are known for going above and beyond to help their students succeed academically as well as cheering loudly for you as you take the court, rink or field. The campus spirit makes it a special place to live and learn.

What about residence?
Are you thinking about living in residence next year?
You and your friends can live a few minutes away from campus!
We offer apartment-style residences, with 3 or 4 students sharing a furnished apartment.
There are many benefits to living in residence. Here are a few :
- Tons of activities promoting community life and stress relief;
- All of the basic furniture and appliances- included;
- A separate laundry room in each building;
- A 9-month lease instead of 12. Students graduating in December can actually have a 4-month lease;
- You get to choose the friends you would like to live with.
