Workshop Description

Anger with a Twist!

Anger moves fast, rushing in, taking over, and sometimes convincing us we’re one email away from throwing our laptop out the window. But anger isn’t the enemy. Its energy is looking for a healthy exit… preferably one that doesn’t involve yelling at your houseplants.

In this workshop, we’re taking anger out of the shadows and bringing it into the body, with breath-work, movement, and a dose of joyful rebellion. Think of it as adult recess for your nervous system. Together, we’ll stomp like gorillas, roar like lions, shake out tension, smash a few planter pots (yes, really), and even try a shouting circle that will make your inner 5-year-old cheer.

Why? Because anger doesn’t just want to be understood, anger wants to move.
And sometimes the most healing thing we can do is let our bodies express what our polite social conditioning keeps stuffing down. When we give anger a safe, playful outlet, we reclaim energy that’s been trapped in our muscles, we reconnect with what’s true inside (hello clarity!), we prevent resentment and burnout and… we actually feel more alive, grounded, and free

As an Educator in Special Education Techniques and a Certified Practitioner in Integrative Body Psychotherapy, Vanessa will guide you through somatic practices, breathwork, movement rituals, and hilarious-but-profound embodied exercises that help anger shift from overwhelm into vitality.

This is not a workshop about losing control. It’s a workshop about permitting ourselves to feel, to move, to shake, to stomp, to roar, and to rediscover how powerful and playful our bodies can be. Come move, laugh, release, and maybe smash a pot or two. Your inner lion is waiting.
