Program Description

The Science, Computer Science and Mathematics (SCSM) Program at Champlain-Lennoxville is built for students who love computer science! It provides excellent preparation for university-level studies in fields related to computer science, mathematics, engineering and physics. Moreover, this program groups students with similar interests together, allowing them to benefit from each other’s shared motivation and knowledge.

Members of the teaching staff pride themselves on a long-standing record of being available to help students outside of the classroom. Additional Science/SCSM program activities, such as peer tutoring workshops and a yearly series of invited guest speakers, help students achieve their goals and gain exposure to what it is like to do science as a career.

Science or SCSM?

The SCSM program is similar to the Science (200.B1) program, as they share most of the same courses. However, it differs in a few key ways: there are no optional courses, no biology courses, and less chemistry courses. These courses are replaced by additional courses in computer science and mathematics.
