The Beginner English 1 course is designed for people who have never studied English or who have very limited knowledge of the language. It offers a gradual introduction to the basics, helping you communicate in simple everyday situations.
Throughout the course, you will learn how to introduce yourself, ask common questions, understand basic instructions, and use essential vocabulary related to daily life (family, shopping, work, leisure, etc.). You will also explore basic grammatical structures, pronunciation, and useful expressions to help you interact with confidence.
The teaching approach includes a variety of activities to develop both oral and written comprehension and expression.
This course is the ideal first step to building a solid foundation and progressing toward higher levels. Take a concrete first step toward new opportunities in a personalized and welcoming environment.

Annie is an experienced second language instructor committed to making language learning meaningful and enjoyable. With experience teaching diverse learners of varying ages and proficiency levels, she creates engaging, student-centered lessons that integrate speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

This Intermediate English as a second language course will focus on developing a broader vocabulary, while gaining confidence in spoken English through role-plays, and listening activities that boost pronunciation, fluency, and comprehension in varied contexts.
Grammar instruction will be integrated into all skill areas; you will learn to manage everyday life situations, using digital tools for learning and communication, and developing cultural awareness for English-speaking environments.
• Oral communication & Interaction: The focus is on developing confidence and competency in oral communication, moving from structured situations to more natural conversations, presentations, debates, and discussions, asking for and giving opinions, advice, and explanations, and delivering short oral presentations.
• Vocabulary Expansion: Expanding general vocabulary, including idioms and topic-specific terms for business, travel and high-frequency words for everyday life.
• Writing: Emphasis on writing clear, structured written communication, progressing from sentences to well-organized paragraphs in addition to composing various forms of writing, such as informal emails, and formal letters.
• Grammar: Mastering intermediate grammar points (e.g., verb tenses, clauses, conditionals, passive voice) for clear and accurate written expression. Refining structures, identifying/editing errors, using contractions for speech, modals, conditionals, and linking sentences with basic transitions and conjunctions.
• Reading identifying main ideas, distinguishing fact/opinion, using critical reading strategies, writing emails, practicing workplace communication, analyzing short articles and improving comprehension of longer texts.
• Listening & Speaking: Engaging in discussions and role-playing, practicing pronunciation for clarity, increasing fluency, improving pronunciation/intonation, understanding spoken English in various contexts (media, formal/informal).
• Strategies: Using techniques like skimming, scanning, predicting, and using context clues to determine the meaning of unfamiliar words and extract information
