DEC-BAC

Champlain College has signed DEC-BAC agreements or partnerships with various universities in all of their technical programs:

In Special Care Counselling, DEC-BAC agreements are available with UQTR and the University of Calgary (Block transfer).

In Accounting and Management Technology, a DEC-BAC agreement is possible in several Quebec universities. Students can visit the Université de Sherbrooke and Bishop’s University websites to know more about options available in the Eastern Township region. Graduates may also complete a Business Administration degree in as few as ten correspondence courses with University of Fredericton. They may also complete a Business Administration degree in one year at Griffith University in Australia. Please see brochure below.

In Computer Science Technology (revised program to be offered in Fall 2019), a DEC-BAC agreement with Bishop’s University is available. Graduates of the Computer Science Technology program may complete a Bachelor of Information Technology degree in one year at Griffith University in Australia. (Download brochure below)

In Nursing, the College is a partner in the ‘Estrie-Beauce-Montérégie’ – Université de Sherbrooke consortium, wherein the successful nursing graduate can pursue studies in a two-year (full-time) Bachelor of Nursing Science degree. Graduates can also apply to similar baccalaureate programs in several other universities in Québec, where bridging programs (passerelle) are offered to continue on to the baccalaureate degree in nursing at the university level.
