Champlain College and BU have joined forces to organize the third Empty Bowls/Bols du Partage Project that will be held at the Hope Community Church on Oct. 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Several hundred beautiful handcrafted bowls have been made by local potters. Delicious homemade soups and breads have been made by a local chef, Billy Lidstone Chef a Domicile. Local musicians Jonathan MacAuley and Jason Drew will also be performing. You are invited to come choose one of the bowls, full it with soup, grab a homemade bun and enjoy. You keep the bowl as a reminder that your contribution has gone directly into your community. All the money we raise goes to Lennoxville Elementary School Breakfast Program, The Cornerstone Food Bank and the BU/CRC Pastoral Fund. Tickets are available for $25.00 each at the BU Bookstore. This event is made possible by BU/CRC, Sodexo, Provigo Lennoxville, Patisserie et Gateaux Lorraine and Lucy Doheny Potter.
